It’s the middle of July, which means summer is about halfway over (optimists would have a different take). There’s no time to waste another weekend.
The Plan
- Friday: Screen Vinyl Image, Last Tide, Dead Leaf Echo, and Slowness all make moody, gazey indie rock that seems eerily out of place in a church, yet that won’t stop them tonight: all four play St. Stephen’s in Columbia Heights starting at 8PM sharp.
- Saturday: There’s a secret mansion party during the day which hosts the UK’s Secretsundaze crew. Later that night, Will Eastman joins NYC’s Nick Catchdubs and DC’s Chris Nitti at U Hall for a night of Bliss.
- Sunday: Lo-fi rocker EMA is the latest in a line of strong bookings at H Street’s Red Palace. After the show, join Denman’s anti-birthday “celebration” at No Love Lost.
The Soundtrack
We all need more club music in our lives. Cousin Cole obliges with his Major Rager mix, over 40 bangers crammed into as many minutes.
Major Ranger mix is a nice blast from the past. I like this graphic too.
