Maybe it was the holiday-shortened work week, maybe it was the U Hall induced bass hangover, but I need the weekend to be here now. So, what’s on deck?
The Plan
- Friday: Chaz (Stereo)Faith and Troy/Trevor Martin return to the Rock and Roll Hotel for your monthly dose of Becky. Guilty pleasures and Top 40 jamz only! For late night, no-Beckys-allowed fun, Denman holds down the 9:30 Back Bar for $weat $hop.
- Saturday: We’re in the midst of one of Hollywood’s dumping grounds, but Even The Rain at E Street looks promising (trailer below). Ra Ra Rasputin, Title Tracks and friends take over St. Stephens church, while the 90s R&B one-off Sex U Up and a monster line-up at Bliss will keep you dancing all night.
- Sunday: It’s Oscar night, so stay in, relax, and watch the Academy find new and exciting ways to get things wrong.
The Soundtrack
